William "Bill" Kennish is the father of Senator John Kennish, with whom he has a distant, and often adversarial relationship.
Season Two[]
Bill first appears in season two, episode 5. Toby visits him in hopes of receiving help to get into a college, but bill refuses. This cause a further dispute between him and John.
Bill returns in season two, episode 18, to further his strained relationship with John. He also takes an interest on meeting his biological granddaughter, Daphne.
