Plot[]

A mysterious young woman has Bay and Daphne flooded with memories of their deceased father Angelo (guest star Gilles Marini, “Devious Maids”), and they must decide if they should let her into their lives. Toby is caught between his mother’s wishes to baptize his son Carlton and his wife’s feelings about faith. Melody (guest star Marlee Matlin, “The West Wing”) asks her sons to make amends so the family can be together for her birthday, but it might be too late.

Lea Thompson directed this episode. This is the fourth episode of the show, after Prudence, Avarice, Lust, Justice, Anger (2x17), Your Body Is a Battleground (3x02), and Fog and Storm and Rain (4x07).
In this episode it is revealed that Angelo's donated organs helped save 34 people.
Ally, one of the 34, receives a tree, affectionally called Angelo's Tree, over her transplant scar in honor of Angelo, the life that was lost and the one that was gained.
