Mrs. Rose is the principal of Carlton School for the Deaf. She tries her best to juggle the finances at Carlton and keep the students happy but realizes that she must make cuts for the good of the school.
She makes a lot of financial cuts for the pilot program for hearing kids, resulting in the school play's director's funding being cut, as well as many other extracurriculars. She had also cut Carlton's girls basketball team, leaving Melody, Daphne, and John devastated.
