Zoey Deutch is an American actress who plays Elisa Sawyer in some episodes.

Personal Life[]

Deutch was born and grew up in Los Angeles, California. She is the daughter of actress Lea Thompson and director Howard Deutch, she has a older sister named Madelyn. She attended Oakwood School, as well as The Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, where she majored in Theatre. She was raised in her father's Jewish religion, and had a Bat Mitzvah.

Deutch began her career in 2010 on the Disney Channel original series The Suite Life on Deck as Maya, Zack Martin's love interest. From 2011 to 2012, she had a recurring role as Juliet Martin on The CW series Ringer. In 2011, she appeared in an episode of the television series NCIS titled "One Last Score". She booked a small scene in The Amazing Spider-Man, she plays a gossip girl In the bathroom that is terrorized by the Lizard. In the end, director Marc Webb cut the scene from the movie in favor of keeping the action of the fight between the Spider and the Lizard in the school, the scene is available on the DVD. She also appeared in an episode of the television series Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior titled "The Girl In The Blue Mask" and she landed a role in Marc Cherry's television film Hallelujah. She appeared alongside her mother and sister on the feature film Mayor Cupcake, and played a supporting character Emily Asher in the 2013 fantasy-romance drama Beautiful Creatures. In 2014, she starred as Rosemarie Hathaway in Vampire Academy, based on the book series written by Richelle Mead. In January 2014, it was announced that she would star opposite Tyson Ritter in Randall Miller's Midnight Rider, a biopic on Gregg Allman but filming was suspended after the second camera assistant Sarah Jones was struck and killed by a passing CSX freight train and seven others were injured.
